Models of the real world for games need to be accurate, detailed, and performant. Unfortunately, many existing tools for creating 3D models of cities simply can't make game environments. Either they use photogrammetry to drape photographs over heavy geometry that looks like melted wax, or they invent materials and objects that don't match the real world. Geopipe's models have glass windows, asphalt roads, and brick facades, and every object is built from the ground up to match its real-world counterpart as closely as possible. And because we know what every object is, we can use every trick in the book to save cycles, triangles, and materials and make your game as fluid as possible.

Real-World Cities

You want and need the real world in your game. But it takes huge teams of artists months to build even a rough copy of a neighborhood. Geopipe's machine learning algorithms have already built real-world environments for you, so you can start prototyping a game in a complete environment in less than an hour.

Automatic Levels of Detail

Geopipe's worlds are tiled, and generated with dynamic levels of detail. Let our Unity SDK automatically load detailed models close to the camera, and reduce the rendering burden far away, or download models at several levels of details and have full control over LODs.

Constant Updates

We can update our city models from new data in less than a day. With our Unity SDK or our API, the latest models will instantly appear in your game, so your players can always find their own house. And if you need a city we don't cover yet, just let us know.

Constant Refinement

We use machine learning and computer vision so that we can reproduce the real world at a scale and detail impossible with manual artistry. Geopipe's core system is constantly learning to identify more types of objects in the world, and every time it learns something new, we reduce the details you need to add yourself.
