Models of the real world for games need to be accurate, detailed, and performant. Unfortunately, many existing tools that create 3D models of cities simply can't make game environments. Either they use photogrammetry to drape photographs over heavy geometry that looks like melted wax, or they invent materials and objects that don't match the real world. Geopipe's models have glass windows, asphalt roads, and brick facades, and every object is built from the ground up to match its real-world counterpart as closely as possible. And because we know what every object is, we can use every trick in the book to save cycles, triangles, and materials and make your game as fluid as possible.
